Features:
- High temperature alumina ceramic tube to prevent catalytic reaction of the gas being sampled with the tube.
- Alloy pipe bikini protection sheath for easy mounting
- ‘o’ ring compression fitting for gas tight seal and variable insertion depth
- Ball valve for convenience
- Cleaning port to allow port to be cleaned out with brush.
Specifications:
- 1/2” NPT compression fitting. 3/4” Adapter bushing is available .
- Insertion length is 20”
- Alumina sample tube 1/2” O.D. 1/4” I.D
Infrared gas analysis has made it necessary to pay closer attention to furnace sample conditions.
Leaking sample ports will produce false results for Infrared, or dew point measurements. Sooty sample ports can cause the extracted gas to react with the soot producing false readings in the co and co 2 measurements when using infrared analysis
